LIMA, OH (WLIO) - The Lima Symphony Orchestra closed out the season with another award-winning guest musician.
The season finale Fauré and Dvořák featured the world premiere of a song by the award-winning artist Evan Williams, composed specifically for two members of the symphony. Also included was a space-themed song to celebrate eclipse weekend.
The Lima Symphony Orchestra appreciates all the support they've received this year and is happy to have been able to bring such diverse shows and artists to the area.
"We have had two Grammy winners, and we are just so lucky. The talent we are bringing to the stage, every concert, just gets better and better, and we're actually previewing next season tonight, and so I think people will really be amazed at the talent we're bringing next year as well," said Elizabeth Brown-Ellis, executive director of the symphony.
The Lima Symphony Orchestra returns this October, starting off with a concert featuring the electric violin.
