"This will give us the opportunity for recruitment to get more kids in. With the state of the country, things that are going on, we just want to make sure that our young people have somewhere they can go that their parents feel that they're safe and those kids are safe. And also that we're giving them good mentorship, that we're teaching them to become productive citizens and young people also," said Chris Jackson, executive director of the Bradfield Center.
