The movie A Walk With Grace" had its official premiere, and the film will soon be available for home video and streaming.
The movie was filmed in parts of Allen and Logan counties and showcases much of what Lima has to offer. That was the goal of writer, producer, and director Nick Kellis, who is an alumni of Shawnee High School.
He wanted to be sure that his hometown got the spotlight, and says that if A Walk With Grace sells well, there may be a chance that this won't be the last time that Lima will make it on film.
"If we want more content to come to this town [this has to sell], because we poured $100,000 into our economy that summer - so imagine if we had a movie 10 times the budget, imagine if we brought a series here - we could make Lima a kind of content factory, and that’s a great thing," said Kellis.
Starting on November 5th, the movie will be available to buy on Amazon on DVD and Blu-ray, as well as several streaming platforms. You can find a full list of where to buy the movie on "A Walk With Grace - The Movie" on Facebook.
