Looking for a big break

Sunday may have been a big break for some young local talent.

Representatives of the NY-LA-NASH and Talent America agencies were at A Step Above Dance Studio Sunday to audition children of all ages for a possible spot on an upcoming TV pilot and advertising possibilities.  55 kids participated in workshops and auditions for the talent agencies, who visited the dance studio 2 weeks before, looking for local talent.  The director of a step above says that her kids have been working hard to get ready, and she couldn't be prouder.

"As the director of these children that are amazing in their talent - we teach them to be confident, and we give them life skills as well, so they're able to use all of this together - it's very exciting and I'm very proud of them, to see them step forward, take this in, and just go for it," said Jill Myers, director of A Step Above Dance Studio.

Myers says that the talent agents were prepared to hand out contracts Sunday.
