A local non-profit organization is introducing a new outreach program designed to assist individuals with certain medical needs.
The "Medical Equipment Loan Program" through the Goodwill Easter Seals of Miami Valley, can supply some medical equipment to people who can't afford them. The agency has a small supply of wheelchairs, walkers, canes and other items. They will loan out non-motorized equipment and what they have may change from time to time.
There will be an open house Monday, August 6th from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the Goodwill Easter Seals on Allentown Road.
