OTTAWA, Oh (WLIO) – Rainfall over the past few days led to minor flooding in the area on Sunday. Several roads in low-lying areas were impacted.
According to the National Weather Service, the Blanchard River in Ottawa was in a minor flood stage Sunday and was expected to crest around 2 a.m. Monday. The Blachard in Findlay crest around 2 pm Sunday. and the flooding level only hit the action stage.
Meanwhile, the Auglaize River in Fort Jennings was tracking to crest around 8 p.m. Sunday and reach the minor flooding stage. Water levels are expected to drop in the next day or so before the next round of significant rain arrives.
