The academic school year is coming to a close. One area school is finishing off the tail end of that academic year with a newly constructed building.
Things are back to business as usual for the students and faculty of Columbus Grove Schools.
Just last week students and teachers were moving their operations from the old high school to the new building.
However, the final plan is far from over. Currently the high school and elementary students are sharing the new facility, while the middle school students occupy the old elementary building.
Rather than waiting until a break from classes, the move had to take place now to meet the deadlines for the completion of the middle school renovations.
Superintendent, Bob Jenell, says it's almost like the first day of school, the new surroundings are creating a more optimistic atmosphere.
Students say that they'll always remember the great times they shared in the old building, but look forward to creating new memories inside the new building.
As for the old high school building, school officials say it will be torn down, to make room for a larger parking lot.
