The Auglaize County community received a new Junior King and Queen Monday afternoon at the 164th Auglaize County Fair. Nine young men and women vied for the title. The coronary ceremony brought together community members to honor the hard work and commitment these individuals set forth. Their volunteerism, clubs and organization participation, and scholastic accomplishments were recognized.
18-year-old Jonathan Vogel, a graduate of Memorial High School was crowned King and 18-year-old Amanda Lehmkuhl, a graduate of Minster Junior Senior High, was crowned Queen. While this is a thrilling and exciting time, both winners say they enjoy the responsibilities that come along with the title and look forward to helping other youth. Both Vogel and Lehmkuhl will receive a $200 scholarship to be used at the college of their choice. Â
