LIMA, OH (WLIO) - Do you have a neighbor who goes above and beyond to lend a helping hand? If so, why not thank them by nominating them for a Lima-Allen County Neighborhood in Partnership award?
LACNIP is seeking nominees for two of their community awards, the Shirley Daley Award and the Good Neighbor Award.
The non-profit is seeking nominees for two of their community awards, the Shirley Daley Award and the Good Neighbor Award. You can get an application for the awards at the LACNIP office at 1440 West Spring Street in Lima, OH, and organizers are encouraging residents to nominate neighbors, businesses, or organizations.
Nominations are due by November 1, 2024, and the winners will be announced at the return of the LACNIP dinner on November 14th.
"And I think given the opportunity for the community to do the nominations, that's going to be a great big engagement. I hope a lot of people take that opportunity to send in the nominations to take the time to acknowledge those that are doing good in the neighborhood," said Denise James, LACNIP president.
You can get an application for the awards at the LACNIP office at 1440 West Spring Street in Lima.
Nominations are due by November 1, 2024, and the winners will be announced at the return of the LACNIP dinner on November 14th at the City Club. Tickets are $15 for the dinner, with proceeds going to LACNIP. They are also looking for donations for raffle items for the event.
