Flag City rallies past Xenia 6-3 for comeback win

FINDLAY, Ohio - The Flag City Sluggers rallied from a three-run deficit to defeat the Xenia Scouts 6-3 Wednesday in Great Lakes Summer Collegiate League action.
Leo McEnulty escaped a bases-loaded jam with two strikeouts and a groundout in the third, while Kaden Ford threw out a runner at the plate in the fourth to keep the game scoreless. After Xenia scored three runs in the fifth, the Sluggers answered with five unanswered runs. Trenten Smith and Atticus Huffstutler sparked the comeback before Flag City scored three times in the eighth to take the lead.
The victory improved the Sluggers to 17-13 on the season.
