Ohio 3rd District Court of Appeals Visits ONU

First year law students at Ohio Northern University gathered on Tuesday in the Moot Court Room to hear oral arguments during two Ohio 3rd District Court of Appeals cases. For Matthew Kearney, the opportunity to see and hear Tuesday's court cases was something he looked forward to, and he hopes to bring that knowledge back to the classroom.

First year law students are required to take a Legal Problem Solving and Analysis course, a course that integrates the visit from the 3rd District Court of Appeals into the curriculum.

Judge Vernon Preston joined judges Rogers and Willamowki on the bench to hear the cases.      Afterwards, he met with students to answer questions and give advice, something he finds rewarding.
