LIMA, OH (WLIO) - The Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) is looking into the circumstances behind a fatal accident on October 22 at Resource Recycling, located on Neubrecht Road in Lima.
According to the U.S. Department of Labor, an employee was working on a conveyor around 45 feet off the ground when it was turned on. Officials say the employee fell to their death.
OSHA will be conducting an inspection, which needs to be wrapped up in 6 months. If there are violations found, they could issue citations and possible monetary penalties.
