More than thirty students from various school districts in the state of Ohio were on hand to learn more about the engineering program at the college, as well as learn about the campus itself. Program leaders were on hand to answer students’ questions as well as inform them of the type of coursework that they could expect if they choose to continue their education at OSU Lima.

"Very important to get those high school students involved at an early age and get them some background on engineering programs and what paths they can take," said Jim Rieman, OSU Lima PSET Coordinator. "We can get them into the pipeline and help fill that need and get some of those engineering holes that are out there today filled."

"I've learned so far how much this campus has dedicated to engineering, like a whole building," said Donovan Eason, a student from Anthony Wayne High School. "Students are very engaged and I'm excited to learn more about it."

A professional panel comprised of engineering professionals from the Lima area also were on hand to talk about the field.
