Ottawa Whirlpool

The Ottawa Whirlpool plant is inviting people in to check out the plant, who may be interested in doing maintenance for them. 

On December 12th, they are holding an open house for people who may be interested in doing maintenance for the plant.  They are looking for people who can work with the their state of the art equipment and robotic to fill some needs now and in the future. 

"We are trying to attract team members to Ottawa to participate in this evolution"  says Jenni Hanna, Plant Leader. "But also (we are) planning a head because we have so many talented team members that are going to be retiring, so we want to be prepared so we can continue to develop our people."

There are two times on Tuesday that you can tour the plant and learn more about the job opportunities at the Ottawa Whirlpool facility, either from 5 am and 6 am in the morning or 5  pm  and 6 pm  the night of December 12th.  To tour the plant, you must wear full length pants and closed toed shoes
