There's an update to the suspicious death investigation in Paulding County.
The Paulding County Sheriff's Office now releasing the identity of the man found deceased at the Sherman Cemetery. They say the man was 29-year-old Jared J. Hernandez from Defiance. Deputies were called to the cemetery just after 2 p.m. Tuesday on reports of a deceased male body.
A cause of death has not been identified, with investigators waiting on a toxicology report following an autopsy. They do say that Hernandez did not die at the scene, and they need answers as to where and why he died. They also want to find out who placed him at the cemetery. Anyone with information that might assist investigators are asked to contact the Paulding County Sheriff's Office or leave an anonymous tip on their website.
