It was an evening of inspiration as some women shared their stories of success in overcoming addiction.
Guiding Light Ministries has helped women in crisis since 2009 and is continuing their mission as people heard this evening. The program offers basic needs like shelter, clothing, and food along with education and goal-setting to get these women back on their feet. Those going through the program say it has been life-changing.
"I came to Guiding Light about 11 months ago and I have been able to successfully get employment. I've been off of drugs for about 370 days now and it's just been an uphill," expressed Sharon McClain, who is recovering from addiction.
