LIMA, OH (WLIO) - The Powerball jackpot has now climbed to an estimated 1.4 billion after no players matched all six numbers Wednesday night.
This makes the 11th week with no winner. The next drawing is this Saturday, October 7th. The $1.4 billion is the third-largest jackpot in Powerball history. And the fifth largest for a multi-state lottery. The odds of winning are 1 and 292 million. Powerball drawings are held three times a week on Monday, Wednesday, and Saturday at 10:59 p.m. Eastern. The largest Powerball jackpot was just over $2 billion and won by one person in California in November 2022.
