A Fort Jennings man is hospitalized from a snowmobile accident.
The Putnam County Sheriff's Office said that on Thursday around 4:00, 27-year-old Kyle Kopitsch was in a field about 75 yards north of Road U-20 when he hit a ditch unexpectedly. He wasn't able to stop in time and hit the ditch bank straight on. He was ejected from the snowmobile and thrown about 20 feet. Kopitsch suffered serious but non-life-threatening injuries and was transported to Mercy Health-St. Rita's.
