OTTAWA, Ohio (WLIO) — Trilogy Health Services is showing appreciation to Putnam County veterans not just on Veterans Day, but throughout the year. The Meadows of Ottawa, Leipsic and Kalida rotate hosting a monthly breakfast for veterans and their spouses, drawing between 50 and 60 attendees each month.

Staff members say the gathering offers a chance to honor those who served while also giving veterans a space to connect with one another.

“We want to serve those that served our country. Some of them did it willingly, some of them did it unwillingly, and this is just a small token of our appreciation for them. They enjoy seeing one another and being able to fellowship with each other as well,” says Janelle Herrera, Dir. of Sales Meadows of Leipsic.

The next Veterans Breakfast will be held in January. Veterans can contact any of the Meadows locations in Putnam County to be added to the mailing list for event details. The monthly breakfasts are supported by the Meadows of Ottawa, Leipsic and Kalida, along with the Putnam County Veterans Commission Office, Putnam County Home Care and Hospice, and Bridge Home Health and Hospice.
