Lima City Schools providing opportunities for their students to get real-world experience before graduation.
Students from the Patient Care Technology program at Lima Senior starting a hands-on opportunity with area seniors. Residents at Liberty Retirement Community have been teamed up with a junior patient care student for a monthly visit throughout the school. The students will be learning soft skills while engaging in activities with residents.
This is the 2nd year for the "Adopt a Grandparent" program for students in the Patient Care Technology program.
