LIMA, OH (WLIO) - It has been years in the making and today(11/21/23) the doors opened at a new development concept in downtown Lima.
The "Come in We're Open" sign is up in front of the long-awaited Central District located at 207 S. Central Avenue in Lima. Inside on the first floor, you will find Winans Coffee + Chocolates and the Touch of Europe bakery. While the final touches in construction are continuing, people came in to get the first coffees, chocolates, and pastries in the new complex. Both businesses are excited to get started and are looking forward to serving their customers.
"We are super excited to be in this community where this is a wonderful space for us to be in. With the holidays coming up we are just feeling super excited and happy and ready to just rock and roll with our customers," stated Hannah Hargrove, operations manager of Winans in Lima.
"Now Lima will have something they never had before. The surrounding area, not just Lima. You not going to find chocolate chip cookies in my bakery. It will be all European desserts, pastries, breads, freshly baked and made every day," stated Neli Metzger, owner of Touch of Europe.
