Lima Rotarians, getting a hands-on look at all the new happenings and renovations at Apollo Career Center Tuesday.
It was the Twilight Tour, which Apollo Superintendent Judy Wells told us, they've been planning together for a year now. Rotarians enjoyed cosmetology like making floral bouquets and getting massages, as well as experience the new technology offered, like virtual reality tools now displayed in Apollo's classrooms and labs. The renovations were a $53 million project.
"I'm anxious to see all the new renovations and all the upgrades that they've made to the facility, and its an experience we get to see firsthand, what the career tech has to offer to our employees or future employees, kids coming out of high school or even adult programs," said Lima Rotary President, Tracie Sanchez.
Superintendent Wells told Your Hometown Stations that they rely on Rotary to pass along to the community all the great programs Apollo offers. Sanchez said they even had visiting Rotarians from Scotland there enjoying Apollo's Twilight Tour.
