The UNOH Event Center hosted the 2nd Annual Veterans Services Outreach Day.
The event was free and open to all active duty, National Guard, Reserves and Veterans.
The event helps local veterans make connections with the services that are available to them in the region.
They could enroll in VA Health Coverage, make disability claims or even check on the status of disability claims.
About 6% of the UNOH population consists of veterans and many of them need help navigating the bureaucracy involved in getting benefits.
For the past seven years, UNOH has been named a Military Friendly School, which puts it in the top 15% of colleges and universities nationwide.
