FINDLAY, OH (WLIO) - A welfare check leads to a drug arrest in Findlay on Tuesday. Officers from the Findlay Police Department seized suspected fentanyl, prescription pills, drug paraphernalia, and over $9,000 in cash after they served a search warrant at 512 College Street.
Officers were originally called to do a welfare check at the residence when they saw drugs and paraphernalia in the home. They got the search warrant, and an unnamed individual was arrested and booked on unrelated charges. Additional charges are expected after they get lab tests back on the drugs.
