BOTKINS (WLIO) — Botkins secured the Shelby County League boys basketball title outright on Friday night with a 45–22 win over Jackson Center.
The Trojans took control early and never looked back, leading 21–9 at halftime before pulling away in the second half. Eli Pitts led all scorers with 21 points for Botkins, while Vincent Bayless added key scoring inside as the Trojans stretched the margin.
The win gives Botkins its first outright Shelby County League championship since 2022 and the 17th league title in program history.
