COLUMBUS GROVE, Ohio — The Columbus Grove Bulldogs have built a tradition of excellence, and they’re showing no signs of slowing down.
The Bulldogs are fresh off their eighth regional championship and made their fourth trip to the state semifinals in the last five seasons. That 2024 campaign included a perfect 10-0 regular season and a Northwest Conference title — their second straight.
But it wasn’t without adversity. Injuries tested their depth throughout the season, especially at quarterback, where three different players took meaningful snaps.
Now entering 2025, senior quarterback Landon Best returns healthy and ready to lead a team looking to three-peat in the NWC.
Despite losing 19 seniors and standout running back Trent Barraza, the expectations in Columbus Grove remain as high as ever.
