ELIDA — Elida junior soccer star Lexie Good has etched her name into program history, becoming the Bulldogs’ all-time leading goal scorer.
Good netted her 89th career goal this week, surpassing the long-standing record of 88 set by Tom Thomas during the 1995 and 1996 seasons. Thomas’ mark had remained untouched for nearly three decades before Good’s historic tally.
With another full season still ahead of her, Good’s new record could stand for years to come as she continues to lead Elida’s offense in the Western Buckeye League.
