FORT LORAMIE, Ohio (WLIO) — Minster got back on track in Game 3 of the Fort Loramie MLK Classic, taking down Troy 64-48. After a tough loss on Friday versus Fort Recovery, the Wildcats showed they were ready to compete from the opening tip.
Cole McClurg led the way for Minster, attacking the basket all game long. In the first quarter, he scored inside on the block, setting the tone for the Wildcats.
Cole Albers, the 6-foot-8 center, was dominant inside as well, scoring on a hook shot and cleaning the glass for second-chance points, finishing with 20 points on the night.
McClurg wasn’t done, driving past defenders and finishing high off the glass. His team-high 22 points earned him game MVP honors.
With the win, Minster improves to 8-6 on the season.
