OTTAWA, Ohio (WLIO) — Ottawa-Glandorf used its size and depth to pull away early and cruise to a 59-24 win over Elida on Friday night in Putnam County.

The Titans wasted little time getting on the board as Jordan Schumaker opened the scoring by attacking the lane and finishing through contact.

Moments later, Schumaker kept a possession alive after losing his footing, finding Landon Pester for a 3-pointer that sparked an early run.

Pester continued the surge from beyond the arc, knocking down another open look from the perimeter as Ottawa-Glandorf jumped out to an 8-2 advantage and set the tone for the night.

Elida found brief success running its offense through the wings.Gavin Tickle finished through traffic off a two-man action, and Jonathan Payne rejected a screen and hit a mid-range jumper from the baseline to slow the momentum.

The Titans responded by asserting their size in the paint. Senior Brody Fortman went to work inside, converting a soft floater as Ottawa-Glandorf continued to extend the lead.

Ottawa-Glandorf, which has won eight of the last 10 meetings with Elida, never looked back and closed out the game with a commanding margin.
