KETTERING, Ohio (WLIO) — After eight weeks of the high school boys basketball season, there’s been no shortage of highlight-reel moments across the area.
This week’s K&M Contracting Play of the Week comes from Lima Senior’s matchup against Brunswick at the Flyin’ to the Hoop Invitational.
In the second quarter, Spartan guard Amari Addy spotted Elynn Stearns cutting to the basket and delivered a perfectly timed pass. The 6-foot-7 sophomore did the rest, rising up and throwing down a powerful two-handed dunk that brought the crowd to its feet.
The play showcased Stearns’ athleticism and awareness, as well as Addy’s vision, and stood out among a weekend full of big-time performances.
Stearns finished with eight points in the game, helping Lima Senior secure a 61-51 win over Brunswick.
Congratulations to Elynn Stearns for earning this week’s K&M Contracting Play of the Week honors.
