LIMA, Ohio (WLIO) — Week ten of the high school boys basketball season produced plenty of highlight-reel moments, and with the postseason approaching, every play carries extra weight. This week’s K&M Contracting Play of the Week comes from Lima Senior’s non-conference matchup against Shawnee.
Early in the first quarter, the Spartans brought pressure on the defensive end, and Willie Foster made the most of it. After the steal, the senior rose up and threw down a powerful one-handed dunk that electrified the crowd at Lima Gymnasium.
Foster finished with a game-high 27 points as Lima Senior defeated Shawnee 84-60. The Northern Kentucky commit also surpassed the 1,000-point mark for his career in the victory.
Lima Senior returns to action Monday on the road against Toledo Scott. With a win, the Spartans would clinch the Toledo City League title outright.
Congratulations to Willie Foster on taking home this week’s K&M Contracting Play of the Week honors.
