LIMA, Ohio (WLIO) — After last week’s big road win at Bath, the Shawnee Indians brought that same energy back home Friday night, knocking off Celina 35-21 for their fourth straight victory.

On the game’s opening drive, a bad snap put Celina in prime position. Parker Bertke quickly capitalized, powering into the end zone to put the Bulldogs up 7-0.

But Shawnee wasted no time answering back. Quarterback JJ Spyker faked the handoff and launched a deep strike to Reese Davidson, who hauled it in stride for a 59-yard touchdown to tie the game.

Davidson wasn’t finished. In the second quarter, the junior wideout pulled in a tough grab near his own end zone, turned upfield, and outran the defense for a jaw-dropping 98-yard touchdown — his second of the night.

The Indians kept rolling from there, sealing a 35-21 win and extending their winning streak to four games.
