ST. HENRY (WLIO) — In a battle of top-10 Division VI teams, No. 7 St. Henry defended its home court with a sweep over fifth-ranked Coldwater.
The Cavaliers struck first, with Mara Riethman recording an early kill to help Coldwater build a quick lead. Later, Mia Knapke delivered an ace to put the Cavaliers back in front at 5-4.
St. Henry answered with a surge of its own. Mylee Kramer tied the set at 8 with a kill, and Molly Wendel followed with a powerful finish that left no chance for a return.
The Redskins carried that momentum through the rest of the night, taking the match in straight sets by scores of 26-24, 25-9, and 25-20.
