LIMA, OH (WLIO) - A banquet Thursday night honored some of the most influential people in Ohio's biggest industry.
Five individuals were inducted into the Allen County Agriculture Hall of Fame for their decades of success and hard work. All proceeds from the evening's ticket sales are donated to the Allen County Junior Fair, a program many inductees participated in themselves and continue to support today.
The owners of Pandora Grain & Supply join the Hall of Fame this year for running a company that many local farmers can count on and helping them sell their crops across the country by setting up shop along a railroad.

"Farming community is very family-oriented, and so some of our original customers, we're dealing with their sons and some of their grandsons or grandkids now," said Gary Luginbill.
"It's something we've always done. We never expected something like this, so it was a very big surprise when it happened and very humbling," added his wife and co-owner, Laura Luginbill.
During his time as a farmer and around a decade working with the Allen County Soil and Water District, Inductee Joe Schmersal has worked to educate people on tactics for keeping the land healthy.
"I started out very early in no till, and it's really, really a good practice. I like it a lot. And it protects the soil, and it improves the soil with not disturbing and not burning up all your carbon by tillage," Schmersal said.
Also inducted tonight were the late Todd Schaub of S&S Volvo and Randy Jones of Jones Show Cattle.
On Friday at 10 a.m., a physical Hall of Fame will be unveiled at the Allen County Farm Park.
