Fourth graders performed monologues at the Faurot Park pavilion this afternoon. Each student was assigned one Ohioan to research and then perform in front of their class as that person. The students were graded on audience participation, movement, posture, and voice. The fourth graders we talked to said they were surprised to learn some new things about their fellow Buckeyes.

"I like that he has his own personally and like he did comedian, comedian stand-up, and now he has his own show. I thought that was pretty cool," explained Kelsey Burris, when asked about Drew Carey.

"I learned that he was the first new artist for R&B. I also learned that he was a singer, musician, and actor. I just thought he was just a singer. But it turns out, he was an actor too. I didn't know he was like R&B, but I listened to some of his music I was like wow this is pretty cool," stated Aria Brown, when asked about John Legend.

The students have been working on their monologues for about a month and a half. Liberty students have been doing the famous Ohioan project for around a decade.
