With warm temperatures and low humidity, the weather was perfect for the fifty-fourth annual Bluffton Festival of Wheels.

The festival took place in Downtown Bluffton on Main Street and Cherry Street with classic and antique cars, trucks, tractors, and even fire engines. Parking and registration opened at 2:00 PM on Friday with well over 100 vehicles making an appearance, and judging of the cars began at 5:00 PM. Hundreds of people attended on Friday, and for some, this festival holds a special place in their heart.

"It's something we've been doing for so many years. People kind of expect this to happen, and it's something I grew up with. It's the reason I have a couple old cars myself and because I always wanted to have one of those cars in that parade. So it's really something to get people together and come out to see people maybe we haven't seen since last year, and it's a good opportunity to do that," says Dan Groman, Committee Member of the Bluffton Lion's Club Festival of Wheels.

The festival concluded with a trophy ceremony at 7:30 PM and a cruise down South Main Street at 8:00 PM on Friday.
