They say every dog has it’s day, and that was really evident at the Ottawa Metro Park Beach on Saturday.
Johnny Appleseed park district invited all four legged friends and their owners to a fun afternoon for their annual “Dog Day at the Beach.” The beach has already closed up for the season for its human guest, so dogs of all sizes are able to come out to run, play and swim during this once a year event that has literally gone to the dogs.
This is the 16th year the park district has held the “Dog Day at the Beach” event
