LIMA, OHIO (WLIO) - The Allen County Democrats hosted a tea so people could get to know the candidate they have running for the 4th congressional seat.

Allen Co. Democrats hold a Tea for Tamie

She says she wants to work with both sides of the aisle to end the gridlock that is hurting the residents of the United States and in Ohio.

During the tea, Tamie Wilson talked to voters about the ideas she wants to bring to Washington, D.C. She says she wants to work with both sides of the aisle to end the gridlock that is hurting the residents of the United States and in Ohio. Wilson says that she understands the everyday struggles that people in the 4th district are facing, and she says if she goes to Washington, she wants to work for them. 

“I am really passionate about representing the people. I feel people in District 4 have gone unrepresented for 17 years. We have had six factories shut down; people are struggling. The median income is about $24,000 a year. People are having a hard time making ends meet, and Jim Jordan hasn't really done anything to help people,” says Tamie Wilson, Democratic Candidate for Ohio’s 4th District . Congressional seat. 

Wilson will be facing off against Jordan for a second time in the November 5th General Election.
