LIMA, OH (WLIO) -Â The Easter Bunny made a stop in Lima on Saturday afternoon.Â
The Allen County RTA invited the Easter Bunny to come meet passengers on their passengers on their busses, and then take photos with kids and their families in the transit center. After getting their pictures taken, each was sent home with some free chocolate. The RTA wanted to do something special for the holiday to give residents a chance to get to know them and make some Easter memories.Â
"We decided to bring in the Easter Bunny to give back to the community, to let them know that we appreciate them. I think it's important to know that we care, and our availability, and we're here for their transportation, and we are very involved and we appreciate them," said shift lead Jodee Hunter.Â
The RTA's trolleys will also be giving free rides next Saturday for downtown Lima's Solar Smash Bash.Â
