LIMA, Ohio (WLIO) – Poetry fans will want to make their way to the Lima Public Library on Saturday morning.
Local poet and author Dorothy Love’ll will be reading from her book, Dear God It’s Me Again. Love’ll, who moved to Lima in 1988 and now calls the city home, said she is excited to share her work with others. Her collection of poems, short stories, and reflections spans more than 25 years.
“I get to share the heart that God has given me, and it’s through poetry,” Love’ll said. “So they’ll get a chance to hear me do and recite poetry or read as really a poetry reading. So I’ll be reading the book.”
In addition to the reading, Love’ll will also take questions about her work. The event will be held from 10 a.m. to noon Saturday in Meeting Room 2 in the library’s basement.
