LIMA, Ohio (WLIO) - It was all about the kids at the Allen County Fair as Monday marked Youth Day.
One of the Youth Day traditions is the Kiddie Tractor Pull in front of the grandstands. Kids of all ages laced up their shoes, hopped into the driver’s seat, and pedaled their tractors to see how far they could go. One of Monday’s winners was 7-year-old Blaine Bowsher. After taking the first-place prize, we caught up with Blaine and his dad.

"I was in the Kiddie Tractor Pull," says Blaine Bowsher, a 1st place winner in the Kiddie Tractor Pull.
"Wow, that sounds like fun, and what was that like?" we asked Blaine.
"Kinda fun, kinda scary," replied Blaine.
"What do you think about you winning today?" we also asked Blaine.
"It makes me happy," Blaine said.
“It's a proud moment. This is actually the first year he has done it, and we were up here for it and thought we give it a whirl. It makes you feel good that they're kind of stepping out on their own and doing their own thing, and the smile on their face says it all,” says Ben Bowsher, Blaine's Dad.
By winning first place, Blaine has qualified for the Buckeye State-sanctioned Kiddie Pedal Tractor Pull Championship in August 2026.
