LIMA, Ohio (WLIO) – The Lima Symphony Orchestra brought music from the silver screen to life during a summer family concert.
The orchestra kicked off its new season with “Once Upon a Time,” which featured iconic musical scores from films such as Star Wars, Indiana Jones, and The Incredibles. But the concert also included singers performing songs and melodies from Disney classics like Beauty and the Beast, Aladdin, and The Lion King, plus music from some recent hits like Encanto.
Even before the music began, there were plenty of activities for families. ArtSpace Lima offered crafts and entertainment, kids got to meet Elsa and Anna, and everyone could enjoy sweet treats to help beat the heat.
The Lima Symphony will return indoors for their next performance, Symphonic Landscapes, on Oct. 11. The concert promises to be a feast for both the eyes and ears, featuring music played alongside stunning landscape projections.
