LIMA, Ohio (WLIO) — Parents looking for a night out will soon have an opportunity thanks to a new program at the Lima Community Aquatic Park.
The park is hosting a Parent's Night Out event where staff will supervise children while parents take some time for themselves. Kids will enjoy swimming, dinner, crafts, ice cream and a movie in a safe and supervised environment.
Organizers say the program is designed to support local families by providing affordable recreation and childcare options, while also highlighting the aquatic center as a year-round community resource.
The event will be held Saturday, Nov. 15, from 5 to 8 p.m. and is open to children ages 4 to 13. Registration is required. The cost is $20 for the first child and $10 for each additional child.
