PUTNAM COUNTY, OH (WLIO) - The Putnam County Sheriff's Office is requesting information from the public about the whereabouts of a wanted man.
Vera has been sighted in the Columbus Grove area, and Sheriff Siefker says he could still be in either Putnam County or Allen County.
In a Facebook post Saturday night, Sheriff Brian Siefker's office is looking for Joe Vera III, who is 6 feet and weighs 190 pounds. The sheriff's office says that Vera has warrants for aggravated burglary, strangulation, escape, and aggravated robbery. Vera also has a nationwide warrant through APA for parole violations. Vera has been sighted in the Columbus Grove area, and Sheriff Siefker says he could still be in either Putnam County or Allen County. In a separate Facebook post, the Delphos Police Department adds that Vera has known connections in the Delphos area. If you do see Vera, you are asked to call the Putnam County Sheriff's Office at (419) 523-3208 or your local law enforcement. Do not confront him, as he may be armed.
