LIMA, OH (WLIO) - The West Ohio Christian Chamber of Commerce convened at the Howard Johnson Hotel in Lima for their quarterly meeting.
On Tuesday evening, the theme revolved around "Investing in the Kingdom" where guest speakers Karen Riel from Christian Family Credit Union and Orrie Augsburger from Faith Investments talked to Christian business owners about their money investments. Leading up to Tuesday night's meeting, the Christian chamber of commerce has been busy across their 7-county local area with multiple events throughout west-central Ohio providing services to interested businesses.
"We have monthly meetings for each of the counties, so each county has their own monthly meeting for like Mercer County or Auglaize County... And in those meetings, we have more of a speaker from the local business or a local ministry, and they kind of explain about their business, so that just kind of builds fellowship and builds awareness... and then, we've had some training and some workshops leading up to this, so this whole part is about education," says David Roznowski, CEO, West Ohio Christian Chamber of Commerce.
