An Arizona man believed to have caused a fatal drunk-driving crash attempted to get a new attorney today(11/5/19).
John Robinson was in Allen County Common Pleas Court to part ways with his current court-appointed attorney. He says he is upset that he hasn't met with the expert witness his attorney plans to call at his trial next week. He also says he wants to see all of the discovery the prosecution has. The judge talked things out with Robinson and he will keep his same attorney. Robinson is suspected of driving the wrong way down a Beaverdam off-ramp and colliding with a Michigan family in 2018. One teenager was killed in the crash. His trial is set for next Tuesday(11/12/19).
