Benefit car show helps family of Kyle Lewis

A benefit car show had a somber tone Saturday, as friends said goodbye to Kyle Lewis. Lewis was known for helping raise money through a variety of other benefit car shows, by impersonating Deputy Barney Fife from the Andy Griffith show. The car show was set up to raise money for Lewis who has been hospitalized with lung problems since March. But unfortunately, he passed away last night. Around 130 vehicles took part in the show, and it gave friends a chance to remember Lewis.

“I am going to miss him,” says Richie Crouch the Organizer of the Kyle Lewis Benefit Car show. “And I know everybody here is going to miss him. It is going to be tough to do the King Car Show without my buddy. Everybody knows that I do Elvis Presley at all the shows. He was a big part of me creating the King Car Show.”

The money raised Saturday will go to help Lewis’s wife to help with the medical bills.
