An unconventional church in Van Wert is celebrating a milestone.
White Horse Biker Church marked their first anniversary with a picnic celebration at Smiley Park.
The church is led by founder Steve "Slowride" Haskin who had been involved in White Horse Ministries.
After he retired from General Motors he decided to form a church.
Initially, services were held in the backyard of a home on Liberty Street in Van Wert.
Now they use the YWCA gym for Sunday morning services which start at 10.
