Blass Construction charity yard sale

A Cridersville business is giving back to the community and they need your help to make it a success.

Blass Construction and Remodeling recently purchased the former Reichelderfer and Graham Lumber Company in the Village of Cridersville and are making room to consolidate locations.

They're having a lumber "yard" sale with 50 percent of the proceeds donated to the community's Legacy Park Project. There will be a whole host of items for sale from bundled scrap lumber, windows, and doors to vintage tools, advertising collectables and much more. Blass says the lumber company holds a lot of history for the community and he wanted to share that with residents and give back by donating to the park project.

"Some of it is more modern, it's just surplus stuff that we can't use that we don't want to offer for sale on a regular basis. I've got some hardwood flooring from the 60s that it's new, what we call new-old stock, it's never been installed, never been sold, it's been sitting here for a long time, said Owner Mike Blass.

The sale is this Saturday, June 25th from 8am to 2pm. He says there will be Custer's Chicken Dinners and other food available from 11am on with part of those proceeds going to Legacy Park.
