A Bluffton man was sentenced to nearly two decades in prison for raping a child.
According to the Hancock County Clerk of Court's Office, 37-year-old Jonathon Lamb was sentenced to 18 years in prison on the charge of rape. Lamp pleaded guilty after a deal which dropped the possibility of a life in prison sentence.
According to the indictment, the child was four years old at the time of the crime and it's unclear what Lamb's relationship was to the victim.
Lamb will also have to register as a sex offender as part of his sentence.
